MySpace is currently blocking Photobucket Videos from user profiles. Photobucket has posted a response on its blog, asking users to submit complaints to MySpace.

TuneCore has found a niche in the new digital media marketplace. The company handles digital distribution for independent musicians. For a small annual fee, Tunecore will distribute albums to online retailers (such as iTunes) and collect payments. TuneCore delivers 100 percent of the revenue from digital sales to its clients.

The CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" has been actively embracing the web as a promotional tool. The show has created MySpace profiles and blogs for show characters. Extended scenes will soon be posted on the web, when the content is too racy for broadcast.

Yahoo and Viacom have struck an advertising pact. Yahoo will provide advertising for 33 Viacom web sites, using the new "Panama" advertising system.
