You are right on the money. This short form craze reminds me a bit of the CD-rom craze of the 80s. Everybody was rushing to put all sorts of content on CDs. In the end, no one wanted to pay much for the yellow pages or encyclopaedia on CD. As new tech and new media emerged the CD publishers got crushed. Look for owners of the "big new thing" to become the latest big new thing that goes bust. They won't be able to monetize the eyeballs. Look at the ads on MySpace -- my 14 year old son is all but oblivious to the ads. It's noise that he and his friends can ignore. PS: I just ordered your book. 8)
